PMHA's 2020/2021 Season - IMPORTANT INFORMATION

Sep. 24, 2020

PMHA Families,

Welcome to a new season!!  This one is sure to be an exciting one.  Things are considerably different this year.  Please familiarize yourself with the information needed.  This email contains a message from our Executives outlining the expectations required of our players, their parents/guardians, coaching staff and spectators at this point of the season. It also contains links to important information that we need to know such as the Hockey Alberta Return to Play Guidelines (that everyone has already received), the Hockey Canada Safety Guidelines, the Pembina Rec-Plex COVID Information and the COVID-19 Alberta Health Daily Checklist.  These last two are new important reads that you should familiarize yourself.

Like everything this year, things can and are changing continuously.  PMHA is committed to making sure you know of these changes as soon as they're available.  That being said, please remember that EVERYONE on our Executive Board are in fact VOLUNTEERS.  We're all trying to do the best that we can.  Also, please keep in mind that rules at the Pembina Rec-Plex are important to follow.  People not following these rules could lead to our facility closing which would mean no hockey for our kids.  Please be respectful.

The links in bold NEED to be reviewed before Saturday Sept 26.  Please note that everyone is expected to wear a mask ages 2+.  This includes our players going into the dressing room.  Players do not need to wear a mask on the ice while skating.

A FOLLOW-UP EMAIL WILL BE SENT OUT CONTAINING THE PMHA COVID GUIDELINES AGREEMENT.  THIS AGREEMENT MUST BE SIGNED AND HANDED IN BEFORE PLAYERS CAN ATTEND THEIR FIRST PRACTICE ON SATURDAY.  THEY CAN EITHER BE HANDED IN TO OUR GAME & CONDUCT EXECUTIVE, NICK BOSER, OR EMAILED TO HIM AT nickboser13@gmail.com.

Thank you and have a great season,

Jackie McKinnon
